Discover one of the most exotic regions: the Ourika Valley. The colourful landscape is filled with orchards and crops, ruined forts and modest villages. This beautiful lush green valley is definitely one of the best preserved valleys in Morocco.
We will go to a picturesque Berber village, which is amazingly built at the edge of the rocky valley. In this village, which bears the same name as the valley, there is the opportunity to visit a market and be welcomed into a Berber home to enjoy some Moroccan mint tea served in the traditional manner. Then we will go to an Argan oil corporative where you will learn about the interesting production process and many wonderful benefits that this product has for the body.
The next forty miles of road will be filled with gardens, land cultivated by palm tree plantations and fruit trees, tiny hamlets, summer homes, and cafes and restaurants where it is possible to have lunch in a traditional. After, we will drive to the village of Setti Fatma, and take about an hour hike to the Seven Falls. Amongst all the beautiful scenery, you will discover a "Berber bar" where bottles are stacked one above the other to catch, and keep cool, the fresh water falling from the mountains. We will return for lunch in the village of Setti Fatma and then drive back to Marrakech.

We leave from Marrakech at 8:00am to drive 160 km/100 miles to the Ouzoud Waterfalls.
Enjoy a day around the falls, some which reach the astounding height of 50 meters/164.
In mid morning we will visit the ancient traditional water mills, later followed by an enjoyable lunch on a terrace overlooking the falls. Enjoy the fresh smell of the pomegranate trees and oak trees .
In the afternoon we return to Marrakech.

At 8:00am we leave from Marrakech to Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador. Since Roman times, Essaouira has been inhabited by many people including the Portuguese, Arabs and Berbers. There you will get inspired by picturesque fishing harbours, carpentry, impressive forts, the Medina. It is filled with the rich history of these times and its people, both in architecture and custom. he journey to this former Portuguese fishing village offers up only a few roadside towns and the occasional Berber village.
There is a Medina with its 18th century Portuguese forts, the money souk, the ancient port, the islands... Essaouira is also known for its many artisans, some of whom work with the highly prized Thuya wood.
A grilled seafood lunch at the port is included and then, in the afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech.
Along the way we will pass through a forest of Argan trees, that grow only in this area.
There we will visit an Argan Oil cooperative to learn about the interesting production process and many wonderful benefits that this product has for the body.

This longer tour goes along the impressive High Atlas Mountain road, winding through picturesque valleys, numerous Berber villages, gem sellers and up to Tizi-n-Tichka, the highest mountain pass at 2,260 meters/7,415 feet. The temperature can reach 110 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer.
Travelling south, beyond these impressive mountains that are covered with snow from November to April, a different semi-desert landscape emerges. Along the way to Ouarzazate you will see Kasbahs and small houses made of mud and straw dotting the river bank, contrasting sharply with the surrounding emerald coloured fields.
Ouarzazate, sitting on the edge of the Sahara, is a modern military town built by the French where we will visit the former home of Pacha Glaoui - the Taourirt Kasbah. After we will go to the ancient Ait Benhaddou Ksar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is also a famous movie location and a place for Atlas studies, making it one of our most interesting stops. If you would like to enjoy the scenery more leisurely, we recommend that this tour be taken over a 2 day period.

Day 2
Zagora – Draa Valley - Ouarzazate – Marrakech
We will awake before dawn to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast we return on camels to the village of Zagora to pick up the 4x4. We then drive to Ouarzazate where we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah, the Atlas Film Studios, and enjoy some lunch before continuing to Marrakech via Tizi-n-Tichka. We will stop along the way at an Argan oil corporative to learn about the production process and many wonderful benefits that this product has for the body.
When we arrive in Marrakech, we will drive you to your hotel or riad where our service will end.

Day 1
Marrakech – Telouat – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

We will pick you up at 8:30am from your hotel or riad and drive through the High Atlas Mountains to Tizi-n-Tichka which is 2,260 meters/7,415 feet above sea level
We then turn onto a small road where we can enjoy the surrounding beautiful landscape on the way to the Telouat Kasbah.
After visiting the Kasbah, we will have lunch and continue along a road dotted with mountainous Berber villages where families live in adobe houses before arriving at the fortified Ait Benhaddou Ksar.
We will have time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site where such movies as Gladiator, Obelix, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz, have been filmed.
Then we will drive to Ouarzazate, known as the great door to the desert, to enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 2
Ouarzazate – Fint Oasis – High Atlas – Marrakech

In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah, Tifoultoute Kasbah, Altas Film Studios, and the Fint Oasis before journeying back to Marrakech via Tizi-n-Tichka. We will stop for lunch and, at this same place, visit an Argan oil corporative to learn about the interesting production process and the innumerable benefits that this product has for the body.
